Latest Project: I had the rare privilege of photographing a Golden Eagle chick (under licence from Nature Scotland) in the Scottish Highlands. The nest was situated in an old Scots Pine forest with a wonderful juniper understorey. Quite rare for eagles to nest in such woodland settings but it meant the hide could be placed at a similar height to the nest. This male chick was virtually fully grown and ready to fledge.
